Angie's list response to the false, fraudulent advertising by Exotic Environments Landscaping, LLC.
This is how Angie's List responded to the false advertising, and unlicensed activities of Exotic Environments Landscaping, LLC, by the company and by the managers, and owners, Cory B. Hanlon, and Amy M. Hanlon.
Kudos to Angie's list, and the Palm Beach Better Business Bureau, for doing such a great job protecting the consumers of Palm Beach County!
BELOW IS A QUOTE FROM ANGIE'S LIST REGARDING THE HANLON'S, COMPANY, EXOTIC ENVIRONMENTS LANDSCAPING, LLC:
"Angie's List understands that trade licensure is an important component of our members' hiring decisions. Angie's List requests that each service provider attest to its compliance with local and state licensing requirements. If we are informed by the appropriate governing authority that a service provider has attempted to perform services for which it is not legally licensed, Angie's List will supplement the service provider's “attestation” by placing a notice on the provider's Angie's List profile summarizing the authority's findings. On the above date, the appropriate governing license authority notified Angie's List that this provider was cited for performing, or attempting to perform unlicensed contracting work. This provider does not hold the Palm Beach County Paver Brick / Paver Systems Contractor License required to perform its trade or profession and therefore will be withheld from Category searches indefinitely. Angie's List will update or remove this Notice if proof of compliance with this and any other applicable requirements is received."
